Websites do not stay still. Plugins update, security holes appear, forms stop delivering, backups quietly fail and nobody notices until something breaks in public. Maintenance is the unglamorous work that keeps that from happening.
What we do every month
Core, theme and plugin updates applied on a staging copy and checked before they go live. Offsite backups taken and, more importantly, tested. Security scanning, uptime monitoring, form delivery checks and a look at the error logs.
Small changes included
Most maintenance clients need a handful of small changes each month: a new team member, an updated price list, a page taken down. Those are included up to an agreed amount of time rather than quoted for individually.
Knowing before your customers do
Uptime and form monitoring means we usually know about a problem before anybody rings you about it. That is most of what you are paying for.
