Web design
A website has one job, and on most sites nobody has written it down. We start by agreeing what yours is meant to do, design around that, and build something your own team can run afterwards without calling us every week.

Deciding what the site is for
Before anything is drawn we agree who the site is for, what they need to be able to do, and what counts as success. That decides the structure, and structure decides most of the design. Sites that grow without this become a menu of thirty items nobody reads.

Design that works on the devices people use
Every layout is designed for phone, tablet and desktop, not designed for desktop and squeezed afterwards. We check real content in real widths, including the long product name and the page with too much text, because those are the layouts that break.
Built to be edited by you
We build on WordPress with a page structure your team can actually use, so adding a page does not require a developer. You get the site, the training and the files. Nothing is held hostage.

Tell us what your current site is failing to do. We will tell you whether it needs a redesign, a rebuild, or three specific fixes that would cost far less.

Website design FAQ
How long does a website take?
A small brochure site is usually four to six weeks from signed brief to launch. Larger sites depend mostly on how quickly content and approvals come back from your side rather than on the build.
Do you write the content?
We can, and pages are better when the words and the design are decided together. If you would rather write it yourself we will give you a brief for each page and a word count to work to.
What happens after launch?
You own the site outright. We offer a maintenance arrangement for updates, backups and security, and you are free to take it elsewhere or run it in house.
