Podcast production

A podcast is a long commitment for an uncertain return, and most business podcasts stop after eight episodes. It works when there is a genuine reason for people to listen and someone willing to keep turning up. We will be honest with you about both before we start.

Format before equipment

Who it is for, why they would choose it over everything else competing for the same half hour, how long it runs and how often. These decisions matter more than microphones, and they are usually settled last.

Production that removes the effort

Recording, editing, levelling, music, artwork and distribution to the platforms. The episode arrives ready to publish, because the shows that stop are the ones where publishing became somebody extra job.

Getting more than an episode out of it

Each recording also produces clips for social, a written summary for search, and quotes for email. That is where most of the marketing value sits, and it is normally left on the table.

Tell us who would listen and who would present it. Those two answers decide whether this is worth doing at all.
