Desktop publishing is the unglamorous end of design: long documents, many pages, strict formats and copy that keeps changing. Manuals, reports, price lists, catalogues, tenders and technical documentation.

We set documents up so the hundredth page costs no more effort than the tenth. Proper paragraph and character styles, master pages, automatic contents and numbering, and linked text flow, which means a late change to the copy reflows correctly instead of breaking the layout.

We work in InDesign and hand over packaged files with fonts and links intact, so next year the document is an update rather than a rebuild, whether we do it or you do.
